RAM ProMaster® Cargo Vans

These vans are front-wheel-drive and have over 460 cubic feet of storage room. Ram cargo vans are in an exclusive class featuring a Front-Wheel-Drive (FWD) system. This comes in handy when maneuvering through narrow passages and crowded job sites. They also come with parkview rear backup cameras as standard equipment. The high roofs in these vehicles make it incredible easy to load tall cargo. THe standard cargo height is 65.4 inches. The side doors have 49-inch openings which feature sliding doors. The rear doors have over 60 inches of doorway opening which is perfect for loading standard sized pallets.

These vans are built right here in the USA at the plant in Kansas City, MO. This is great for consumers because they can get parts really fast. All 13 of the upfitter plants are located within 30 miles of the main plant in Kansas City. Ford Transit cargo vans are built with a unibody framework for long lasting strength and durability. There is a choice of three different roof heights and three engines to choose from. Two gas engines and one diesel engine option available. Every Transit comes with a 6 speed automatic transmission. The modern, car-like feel is what separates the Transit from its competitors.

  • Roof Heights: The low roof is 83 inches, the medium is 100 inches, and the high roof is 110 inches.

Power is no problem with these vans that start with a standard 276 horse power 4.3L V6. You can upgrade to a 341 horse power 6.0L V8 Votec® engine. You can also get the Hydramatic® automatic 6 speed transmission. Two sizes to choose from 2500 Express and the 3500 Express. There is also a 2.8L diesel option
